Lodging & Services Business is searching for a cracker-jack Bookkeeper/Accountant with good QuickBooks experience.

This is a Permanent Position, can be a FULL TIME or PAT TIME in a good company with colorful coworkers. We are located on Seattle's Capitol Hill, in the lively Pike-Pine district. A great place to work and grow. Become a valued member of our small but talented team.

You will be doing hands on bookkeeping, invoicing, recording payments and reconciling bank statements and General Ledger accounts. The job is fast with lots of work. We’re a great place and you get 10 to 40 hours per week - - your choice. The schedule can be flexible but you must show up to work on the dates scheduled.

Our work is primarily in lodging and real estate. You must have good experience with Quickbooks. Salary is commensurate to experience in the $12 to $19/hour range. Hopefully more as you learn and as we grow.

You will be doing invoicing, bank reconciling, accounts payable. You must know Quickbooks perfectly. You must know exactly how it works and be fast and efficient. You must know about memorized transactions, about condensing year end books, about creating finance charges, about use of templates as well as payables, receivables, bank reconcilliations, etc.

You must hit the ground running. We're happy to introduce you to our industry but do not have time to teach anyone bookkeeping, accounting or quickbooks. Sorry. .

Its best if you live very close to Capitol Hill or within easy commuting distance. On the bus lines. The full-time job is 8 hours a day but you can set the start and stop time. Some work can be done on Weekends if you like.
